And that's just what we did at Rimington Duck Race, which proved lots of fun despite the odd Bank Holiday weekend shower. Organised by Rimington Recreation Association, the popular annual event was again well supported.
Organisers this week said a big thank you to the Hartley family for the venue at Bridge End Farm, to all helpers and special thanks to MC and compere Simon Nicholson.As well as the various races, side attraction kept visitors entertained, including the chance to douse unfortunates in the village stocks with wet sponges.
